After a week in the garage having a minor repair done on the handbrake mechanism we were finally able to take Lizzie out for a spin. We had to do a little shopping so it was off to the local supermarket
As we were driving around the local village many people stopped and watched us drive past. At the supermarket a chap stopped to admire Lizzie for a few moments, so she is turning heads!
Further up the carpark, where we stopped so the Mrs could have her first drive of Lizzie, we found a rather nice 1975 Mercedes 200 but despite being 19 years younger than Lizzie, we could not let a photo opportunity go by.
Next up is a wash and brush up ready for Saturday morning where Lizzie is getting taken to a local-ish meet up of classic cars at the Cefn Mably Arms Pub.
