In with the old, Out with the new

In light of recent issues with the electric fuel pump (Lizzie was on her 4th electric one!), it was decided that we should retrofit an original ford mechanical fuel pump. Today, William, removed the blanking plate and fitted the original ford mechanical fuel pump, A new gasket was made up for this purpose.

After we had connected the fuel pump we started her up to make sure all was well, A small fuel leak was found but we soon rectified it.
