Since January 1921 for many years up until 2015 one thing remained constant with a road vehicle – the requirement to display a tax disc.
Lizzie is displaying a copy of a 1956 disc but this is a low-resolution copy and does miss some details. With this in mind a Google search was initiated looking for a better image with a view to making up my own. However, Google returned http://www.creativetaxdiscs.co.uk/ in the results.
The response from CreativeTaxDiscs.co.uk was prompt and within a working week, we had not one but three good looking 1956 tax discs, two of which have been written out by hand with Lizzie’s details.
