Nothing to do with the clocks going back but a small job which we have been preparing to do for a couple of days was accomplished without too much fuss today, namely an oil change
This was a first for me, not done an oil change before so some new equipment was sourced – an oil pan. The new oil filter was sourced from the usual place along with some other items we wanted.
Nothing to report from the oil change, the old stuff was black and the new stuff (Halfords 20W50 Classic Oil (which is what was in the engine)) a more pleasing and clean greenish colour.
With the oil change done a quick spin up to Usk was had, about 10 miles, where a check on the oil levels was made, it was spot on the mark and still a pleasing greenish colour. One small job off the winter job list – next in line is a cooling system flush.
